Two-step verification
A code from your phone on top of the password, so a stolen password is not enough.
Updated on September 30, 2026
With two-step verification on, Kine Quote asks for a 6-digit code from the authenticator app on your phone in addition to your password. Whoever finds out your password cannot open the account without your phone.
How to turn it on
- Install an authenticator app on your phone: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password.
- Open Settings from your account menu and choose Privacy.
- Under Two-step verification, click Turn on.
- Scan the code with the app (no camera? type the key shown) and enter the 6 digits it displays.
- Click Confirm.
At your next sign-in, after the password or Google, the code is requested. Without it, the account does not open.
