Nesting
KineIA nests your parts and makes the most of the sheet
Upload the DXF files and say how many of each: KineIA nests by the real shape, curves and holes included, tells you how many sheets the job needs and shows how to use more of each. It runs in your browser.
From DXF to cutting plan
- 01
Upload the parts
Drag in the DXF files, several at once, and enter the quantity of each.
- 02
Pick the sheet
A sheet or offcut saved in Parameters, or any size you type in.
- 03
Nest and adjust
KineIA nests and analyzes; if you like, move or rotate a part by hand.
Less sheet for the same job
Real shape
Nests by the true outline, curves and holes included: a small part fits inside a big part's hole.
KineIA analysis
Points out a weak last sheet, when the precise search is worth it and when the part spacing is larger than needed.
Cost per part
Weight and cost of each sheet, split among the parts — and the quote comes out in one click, with cutting and sheet in each part's price.
Leftover becomes offcut
One click adds the leftover to your offcuts, ready for the next job.
Frequently asked questions
Does my drawing leave my computer?+
No. Nesting runs in your browser and the DXF files are not sent to any server.
How do I take the layout to the machine?+
Download the DXF of each sheet, with the parts already in place, and open it in your machine's software. The PDF report prints every sheet.
