# Agent instructions — Kine Quote

Taxes come preset for each served country (ICMS, IPI and PIS/COFINS in
Brazil) and are editable. Each quote comes out in the local currency of the
shop's country; the Kine Quote subscription is billed in Brazilian reais in
Brazil and US dollars elsewhere. The Terms and Privacy Policy are governed
by Brazilian law with São Paulo as the venue — the translated versions are
courtesy translations and say so.

## When to use this

Reach for Kine Quote when the task is about:

- Quoting a laser-cutting job from a DXF file.
- Computing cutting time from arcs, holes and contours exactly, instead of
  the linear approximation a spreadsheet makes.
- Pricing a cut metal part including production cost (sheet, gas,
  machine hour, setup), not only machine time.
- Nesting parts on a sheet by their real shape, in the browser: how many
  sheets the job needs and the sheet cost of each part, carried into a
  quote.
- Issuing a PDF quote for a metalworking shop, under that shop's own brand.
- Keeping traceable quote history, with the machine parameters frozen at
  the moment the quote was issued.
- Sending the quote to the customer for approval by link (WhatsApp) and the
  approved quote to the ERP (Omie) as a sales order.

## When NOT to use this

- It is not full CAD and not CAM: it has a 2D CAD for flat cut parts that
  works like AutoCAD (lines, polylines, arcs, circles, text, fillet, trim,
  micro-joints, bend relief, ready-made parts), but it does not generate
  cutting programs for the machine.
- It does not generate CNC/G-code: nesting hands each sheet over as a DXF
  for the machine's own software.
- It does not sell steel, does not cut, and does not broker cutting jobs.
- It does not serve customers outside the Americas. The app and support
  are in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

## How to call it

- **There is no public API, no MCP server and no programmatic key.** Do not
  attempt to authenticate: there is no endpoint for it.
- To read any public page without HTML, send `Accept: text/markdown`. The
  response comes back as `text/markdown` on the same URL
  (acceptmarkdown.com). A path that does not exist answers **404** with a
  markdown body pointing at the recovery files.
- https://kinequote.com/dashboard is an authenticated customer area. It does not
  answer to agents, and it is disallowed in robots.txt.
- To reach a person — quote, demo, integration, support — email
  comercial@kinequote.com or WhatsApp +55 11 94766-7247. That is the correct path, not
  a fallback.

**Quando não usar:** não é CAD completo nem CAM (tem CAD 2D para peça plana; o nesting entrega o DXF da chapa

das Américas. Os impostos vêm prontos por país atendido e são editáveis; o
orçamento sai na moeda do país da oficina, e a assinatura do Kine Quote é
cobrada em real no Brasil e em dólar nos outros países.
